I love getting breakfast at Detroit diners. They offer such a good deal that would cost 3x more in the suburbs. My favorite breakfast item is grits. Not all breakfast places serve grits! My order came with two scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, and toast. Everything tasted as expected, just a simple coney style breakfast. I forgot the price but I think I paid under $6 for my meal. A great option for a quick takeout breakfast in the U of D neighborhood.

Great breakfast. Clean, fast and good coffee. Lots of cops eating there, so it must be good.

My only complaint is they're not open 24 hours! The food is amazing and the best Greek salad in town!

I've been coming to this restaurant for over 10 years. The Djokaj Family mean a lot to me and the club omelette is the best in the city by far. Great food and even better people.

So being somewhat new to the Detroit area, I rarely stopped at any coney islands, particularly because I can't figure out which to try. But after a couple we know said that they ate there regularly and another friend tried it earlier this week, I had to stop. I stopped in for breakfast. The food was plentiful. The ladies were very nice and easy going. There were only a few people there around 8 am. But people seemed to be calling in for pick up orders. My order took 5 minutes or less and I walked in. There is a tv in the corner if you're eating inside. The place is super clean and can seat maybe around 20-25 or so. If you haven't tried it, you should. I was impressed.

We visit often from work. If you call ahead your order it is usually ready when you pick up! The staff is always friendly. Best Greek salad in town!
